Ron Kinnear has been involved with PAL Ice Hockey since the beginning, and has been in an administrative role since 1986. Kinnear played NCAA hockey at New England College from 1980-1985.

Anthony Bernardo has been a stable of the Long Island Hockey community for the last 22 years. Anthony is credited with the creation of the Farmingdale University Ice Hockey program as well as the Hauppauge High School Ice Hockey program. He continues to be active with the high school program as their acting president. Anthony possesses a high level of organization and has a history of success within the hockey community.

John Carricato returns home to serve as Assistant Coach for the Premier Islanders. John grew up playing youth hockey for the Long Island Royals. He then attended Avon Old Farms in Avon, Connecticut playing under New England Prep School coaching legend John Gardner. Upon graduation, John decided to play junior hockey in hopes of playing at the NCAA level. John played three seasons for the Springfield Pics of the USPHL, serving as a team captain for two seasons. During his time in Springfield, John participated in numerous community service events, as well as volunteering as a coach for the local youth teams. John was recruited by coach RJ Tolan to play for Endicott College in their inaugural season at NCAA Division III level.
John served as team captain for three years and played over 100 games at the NCAA level. During his college career he helped lead Endicott to a conference championship, an NCAA Tournament appearance, and numerous weeks ranked top 10 in the national rankings. John earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training. Upon graduation he gained his athletic training national certification as well as his New York State License.
John will work closely with head coach, Alexis Demolina, in day to day team operations as well as player development.

I strive to help these young men develop as both hockey players and people.”
Associate Head Coach
Tony is a USA Hockey Level 4 and will embark on his second season with the PAL JR. Islanders 16U/18U teams. He will coach and instruct players and will direct his efforts and knowledge toward off-ice/on-ice conditioning as well as defensive player development. He currently trains many of his current and former players (several NHL drafted) under the Elite Hockey Group and will bring his off ice training program to Islanders Iceworks. In high school, he earned the Gordon Cup championship freshman year, a New Jersey state championship during sophomore year, and was captain of his high school team in junior and senior years, as well as an all-state selectee. After high school, he skated for Northeastern and earned a business degree from the university.
